No Contact Message Builder

Pick your situation, a length, and a tone. Get a short no contact message you can copy — assembled from set fragments, decided by you, kept in your browser.

This is not a manipulation tool.

A no contact message states what you will do. It cannot make someone miss you, come back, or reply — and nothing here is designed to. If you are looking for a message that changes their behavior, this page will disappoint you on purpose. What it can do is help you say the boundary once, clearly, so you don't have to keep re-explaining it.

Everything on this page runs in your browser. Your picks and the message are never sent anywhere.

1. Your situation
2. Message length
3. Tone

When you should not send anything

Sometimes the strongest version of a no contact message is no message. Check this list before you send anything:

  • They have asked for no contact. A message announcing silence is unnecessary — silence itself already honors it.
  • You would send it to get a reaction, an apology, or proof they care. That is an invitation, not a boundary, and it will read as one.
  • You are mid-urge: lonely, angry, drinking, or minutes after checking their profile. Draft it, then decide tomorrow.
  • The message blames, negotiates, or ends with a question. Any of those starts a conversation instead of closing one.
  • The situation involves threats, stalking, harassment, or abuse. Do not send anything that could escalate contact — get support from a local crisis or domestic violence line instead.
